The music of LamJam is built on a feeling—a deep, soulful vibration that comes from a lifetime of singing from the heart. Born in small-town Mississippi and raised in Dallas, LamJam found his voice early, harmonizing with family and inspired by the gospel roots of his mother and uncle. That journey took him from church pews to school choirs to any stage he could find, from local karaoke nights to building his own creative home at LamJam Studios.

As an artist and producer, he’s less about genre and more about truth. He’s drawn to any sound that feels real, that carries a story you can sense in your bones. When he’s not crafting music, you might find him balancing his creative time with a career in finance, or away from the studio entirely—hiking a trail, traveling, or simply soaking up time with family.

But this story isn't his alone. The LamJam Studios band is a family of incredible voices and players who bring this sound to life. It started as a tight four-piece, and though a beloved founding member is deeply missed, their spirit remains in every note. Today, the group is a flexible, soulful collective. Depending on the song, you might hear a full choir, a nice soulful solo, or a intimate trio.

 

LamJam loves to share the spotlight, often handing the lead to other powerful singers in the family to give each song exactly what it needs.
 

At its core, it’s all about connection. Whether it's LamJam alone with a melody or the whole family raising the roof, the goal is the same: to make music that lifts you up, meets you where you are, and sticks with you long after the last note fades.
